May 31st block party
It’s time for the annual summer community block party (live music, moon bounce, free food) and HFB has been invited to roll up in style.
Every year the residents of the 900 block of 11th St NE throw a massive block party to kick off summer and this year Hill Family Biking has been invited to the party that includes a live band (funk, GOGO, pop, R&B fusion), a moon bounce, free food, outdoor water play, and more! Homes on the block will be opened for bathroom access.
We’ll start at Maury Elementary along with many of the block residents and roll to the block party together.
We’ll have volunteers marshaling to ensure we stay together as a group. MPD bike team will also be participating in the ride to connect officers with the community.
If your family’s bikes need some TLC, please come 15 minutes early to get some assistance–we will have bike maintenance tools available, as well as some experienced amateur bike mechanics on hand to assist.
