December 14th Kidical Mass - Holiday Lights
Join us for a special holiday, nighttime edition of Hill Family Biking. Adorn yourself and your bikes with lights to tour some of the best holiday light displays on Capitol Hill!
We’ll provide glow stick necklaces for all participants to help us light up the night on this 4 mile ride that ends at Eastern Market Playground plaza for hot cocoa and cookies provided by La Dinette DC.
Need lights for your bike, we have two great ways for you to get lit for the ride:
- The Daily Rider is discounting all light sets 10% through the ride date by mentioning Hill Family Biking.
- ActionGlow, a high quality LED light array for your bike frame has provided us with a 20% off promo code (“HFB”) and a free rechargable 9V battery with each order (no need to add to your cart).

About this event
We’ll have volunteers marshaling to ensure we stay together as a group. MPD bike team will also be participating in the ride to connect officers with the community.
If your family’s bikes need some TLC, please come 15 minutes early to get some assistance–we will have bike maintenance tools available, as well as some experienced amateur bike mechanics on hand to assist.
